Here is the sketch - my first experiment from the rayogramming workshop at Nanolab in June. I have since left Daylesford after completing a two and a half minute film on 16mm called A Version of Us.

This first experiment here is haphazard, and far removed from the original analogue video, offering a few glimpses at faces amongst a lot of paper and ink texture from the photograms. My final piece takes this technique further, lining up the sprockets and frames and adding audio, and bringing attention to analogue video defects such as snow storms and digital video detail such as pixels.

Once again I am tremendously grateful to Richard and Dianna at Nanolab, and look forward to sharing the final film in the coming September.
